One of the greatest advantages of shutters is their flexibility. Every installation is custom designed to suit your home. We'll help determine the best configuration during your measure and consultation.

  • The traditional plantation shutter configuration. Panels swing open on hinges, providing full access to windows while offering excellent control over light, airflow and privacy.

  • Multiple shutter panels fold neatly together and stack to one side, making them an excellent solution for wider windows and doors.

  • Mounted on a tracking system, sliding shutters glide smoothly across large openings, making them ideal for ranch sliders, stacker doors and expansive glazing.

  • Designed to remain permanently in place, fixed shutters are commonly used for feature windows, privacy screens or areas where regular access isn't required.

  • Designed for doorways and frequently used openings, walkthrough shutters provide convenient everyday access while maintaining the elegant appearance of plantation shutters.

  • Suitable for existing frames or specialised installations, panel-only shutters provide flexibility where custom framing is unnecessary or already in place.

Controls

Shutters are designed for simple, intuitive operation, providing precise control over natural light, privacy, and airflow. Depending on your preferred style and the shutter configuration, several operating systems are available.

  • The traditional tilt rod remains one of the most popular shutter control options. A slim control rod is mounted to the front of the shutter blades, allowing you to easily adjust the louvres with a simple movement.

    A front tilt rod can be positioned either in the centre of the panel for a classic symmetrical appearance or offset towards the hinge side for a more contemporary look while maintaining easy operation.

  • For a cleaner, more streamlined appearance, the Clearview® system replaces the traditional front tilt rod with a discreet aluminium control mechanism concealed along the side of the panel.

    With no visible rod across the face of the blades, the result is uninterrupted sightlines, a more minimalist aesthetic, and improved views while still allowing smooth, effortless adjustment of the louvres.

  • Supatilt® offers the cleanest appearance of all by concealing the operating mechanism entirely within the shutter stile. The blades are connected using an internal rack-and-pinion system, leaving no visible tilt rod on the front or rear of the panel.

    This premium option provides a sleek architectural finish while maintaining exceptionally smooth and reliable operation.
